ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Trustfund Pensions Limited a leading Pension Fund Administrator is looking for a focused Corporate Communication officer. The Corporate Communicator officer will be reporting directly to the Managing Director/CEO.

JOB TITLE: Unit Head Corporate Communications

LOCATION: Abuja

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
• A minimum of second class lower or its equivalent.
• Master’s degree or professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• 5years and above relevant experience in a communications role.
• Excellent verbal, written skills.
• Good interpersonal skill and a team player
• Must possess and exhibit leadership skills and have the drive for the Job.
• Proficient in Microsoft office, and social media handles.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrate knowledge and responsibility, clearly assigns responsibility for tasks and decisions, sets clear objectives and monitor progress of tasks assigned to the Unit.
• Effective Management of Unit’s resources to achieve goals of unit, department and company.
• Develop, update, manage and monitor implementation of the Corporate Affairs Strategies and policies for the Company. A report on this would be made available not later than 5 days after the end of the quarter.
• Manage all external communications to ensure no negative press on the Company. This will be achieved through a quarterly interactive session with representatives of the media houses, and a report presented 24 hours after the interactive session.
• Scrutinize and manage all outdoor, newspaper and radio advertisements of the Company to ensure that they meet Company’s standard and that the brand is not compromised, all publications sent to the vendor must be reviewed 24 hours and forwarded to the HOD for approval.
• Manage all social media, in house communication and website contents to ensure that the Brand is not compromised.
• Manage the Company’s CSR initiative by:

1. Identifying possible CSR Projects.
2. Identifying potential Projects partners.
3. Timely and seamless execution of CSR Projects approved by management.

• Ensure effective, efficient and timely adherence to the provisions of the PenCom Reform Act (2014), Regulations, guidelines, circulars, regulatory correspondences and requirements/request by other statutory bodies.
