Investment Research Analyst
Trustfund Pensions Limited a leading Pension Fund Administrator (PFA) in Nigeria needs a brilliant and young individual for the post of Research Analyst that emerge on account of growth in our investment department. The Research Analyst will be reporting directly to the Head of the Investment Department.

JOB TITLE: Investment Research Analyst.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Discipline in Economics, Accounting & Finance.
- A minimum of second class lower.
- Cognate working experience in Investment Research (5 years and above).
- He or She must have a strong interest in global financial markets.
- Professional qualifications in the following areas will be an added advantage: CFA, ICAN, CIS, ACCA etc.
- He or She must possess numerical and analytical skills.
- Candidate must be able to display logical reasoning and critical thinking abilities.
- He or She must have good communication and presentation skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure and be a good team player.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Undertake research design, data collection, analysis and production of insightful stimulating reports.
- Scan the market for areas of comparative advantage.
- Ability to use data collected and analyzed to guide business decision making.
- Keep up with investment/financial news, update their colleagues so as to catch up with movers in the market, issue and update reports.
- Support the Portfolio Manager to combine top–down macroeconomic analysis and bottom – up fundamental analysis to find high quality businesses with sustainable competitive advantage.
- prepare a concise report on market conditions such reports are expected to offer short-term forecasts for the market or for sectors of relevance to Trustfund Portfolios.
- Prepare a report analyzing current and prospective portfolio holdings that will contribute to generating investment ideas across different asset classes and industries.
- Support the Portfolio Manager in researching and identifying companies that are mispriced and offer high prospect of superior returns.
- Prepare weekly reports based on technical and fundamental analysis on selected investment opportunities, debt markets, FGN securities and other specialized fixed income securities.
- Initiate, coordinate and work with data across range of industries.
