Monica Ani

Monica Ani graduated from the University of Calabar in 1985 with a B.A. Honours degree in Linguistics. She proceeded to train for her professional qualification as a Chartered Secretary with Marina Nominees Limited [Chartered Secretaries] and was admitted as a Graduate to the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators in 1991. She was admitted as an Associate in 1992. She obtained a First Class Honours degree in Law from the University of Buckingham in 2000 and was conferred with the Bachelor of Laws [BL] from the Nigerian Law School in 2003. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in the same year. In addition to her work experience at Marina Nominees Limited, Monica worked for a number of years as a Senior Associate with the law firm of Aluko & Oyebode before leaving to join Radix Capital Partners Limited [“Radix”] as the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser. While at Radix, Monica rendered financial advisory services to a number of quoted companies and State Governments. She has over 20 years work experience in  diverse areas including company secretarial practice, legal practice with emphasis on corporate commercial and labour law and investment banking.

Monica joined Trustfund Pensions Limited as the Head of Secretariat in 2012. She is currently the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser of Trustfund Pensions Limited. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators.
